The Greensboro & Triad Regions of North Carolina

Greensboro Triad is comprised of three main North Carolina cities: Greensboro NC, High Point NC and Winston-Salem NC. The Triad region does experience warm temperatures in the summer, with an average high of 86° and an average low of 66° for the months of June, July and August. However, the Triad region enjoys four seasons with average minimum temperatures reaching 28.2° in January. The Triad region receives 50.24 inches a year which is higher than much of the rest of North Carolina. Summers tend to be the most humid and wet, as July receives an average rainfall of 4.44 inches.
