Lee Trevino was
originally commissioned to design this golf
course in 1995. Since then, it has been
nationally recognized as part of the rich
tradition of golf in western North Carolina. In
2006, a two-year restoration of this golf course
was started and the surrounding mountain range
was acquired to create a mountain golf course
community.
