The 18-hole "Challenger 3" course at the Challenger 3 Golf Club facility in Shelby, North Carolina features 1,917 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 54 . Challenger 3 golf course opened in 1975. Joe Spangler manages the course as the General Manager. They have other fun activites as well and is a great place for kids.
